The Yarn Story: The alpaca fleece comes from the (fawn and light brown) alpacas of Flagstaff Alpacas and our friends through New Zealand.  Flagstaff Alpacas then skirts, colour confirms and sorts the fleece before it is spun commercially at QualitYarns, Milton, Otago, better known as the 'old mills' about 40 kilometers south of Dunedin!
